I Didn’t Kneel To Propose To My Wife

Nigerian Afrobeat singer and grandson of Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, Made Kuti, has revealed that he did not kneel when proposing to his wife, Inedoye Onyenso, because he viewed the decision to marry as mutual rather than one-sided.

Made Kuti made this shocking revelation on a recent episode of the Timeless Podcast on the Nix Network YouTube channel.

According to him, he told his wife they were not begging each other to be together; rather, it was something both of them wanted to do.

He also revealed that she had previously been his school daughter.
