Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma has reaffirmed his support for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 presidential election, citing the administration’s economic reforms and development initiatives.

Uzodimma stated that the endorsement of Tinubu by the Progressive Governors’ Forum (PGF) was driven by the impact of the administration’s Renewed Hope agenda on Nigeria’s economy and governance.

The Imo governor made the remarks while accompanying the Vice President, Kashim Shettima, who represented the president during the submission of nomination and expression of interest forms for the 2027 presidential election at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre in Abuja.

According to Uzodimma, the Tinubu administration has recorded significant achievements in critical sectors including infrastructure, economic revitalisation, security, and human capital development.

He stressed that continued support for the president is necessary to sustain the implementation of the Renewed Hope agenda and further advance national development.
