Kiru/Bebeji Stakeholders Nominate Jibril Kofa For Fifth Term

Political stakeholders in Kiru and Bebeji Federal Constituency have unanimously nominated Abdulmumin Jibrin Kofa to contest for the House of Representatives seat for a fifth consecutive term.

The decision was reached after a broad consultation and agreement among key political leaders and stakeholders across the constituency, in what observers described as a major show of unity and confidence in Kofa’s leadership.

Chairman of the stakeholders’ forum, Ahmad Ali Yako, announced the endorsement, saying the unanimous decision was based on Kofa’s track record of representation, commitment to grassroots development, and consistent engagement with the people of Kiru and Bebeji.

He noted that the constituency has continued to witness political inclusion and developmental progress under Kofa’s representation, adding that the stakeholders believed continuity would further strengthen the gains already recorded.

Reacting to the development, Kano Governor Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf commended the stakeholders for reaching a common understanding, describing the consensus as a reflection of political maturity and unity of purpose.

The governor thanked party leaders and community stakeholders in the constituency for putting collective interest above personal ambition, urging them to sustain the spirit of cooperation ahead of future political engagements.

The endorsement is being seen as a significant boost for Abdulmumin Kofa’s political standing as preparations gradually build toward the next electoral cycle.
