The women’s wing of the Allied People’s Movement (APM) has expressed readiness to deepen collaboration with the Bauchi State First Lady, Aisha Bala Mohammed, to advance programmes for women’s development and social welfare.
This was made known during a courtesy visit by the party’s National Women Leader, Hafsat Muhammed Barde Usman, alongside the North-East Vice Chairman, Aishatu Suleiman Jaji, at the Government House, Bauchi.
The delegation pledged unflinching support and solidarity with the First Lady, emphasising the need for strategic partnerships to scale up interventions that target women and vulnerable groups.
They commended her leadership and humanitarian strides, particularly through the Almuhibba Foundation, which they said has significantly improved the living conditions of many families.
Responding, the First Lady appreciated the visit and goodwill, noting that collaboration remains key to achieving sustainable development goals, especially at the grassroots level.
The visit highlights growing political and social alignment aimed at strengthening community-based initiatives and expanding the reach of women-focused programmes in Bauchi State.
