A clergy, Ambassador Dr Raphael Akpan, has picked up the nomination form of the All Progressives Congress (APC) which officially signaled his official entry into the race for the Etinan/Nsit Ibom/Nsit Ubium Federal Constituency seat (EFC) in the House of Representatives.

Addressing his supporters, he declared his willingness to give the people of his constituency what he termed effective and rewarding representation once elected into office in 2027.

The clergy said his entrance into the race introduces a dynamic shift that will redefine the contest as he brings a blend of experience,ambition, and a promise of renewed hope with his “UBOK UTOM ABASI” campaign slogan which is already gathering momentum in the area.

According to him, “My aspiration marks a significant development in the political landscape of Etinan Federal Constituency, as my supporters and constituents view my candidacy as a fresh and strategic addition to the race.

“I am campaigning on a platform centered on grassroots development, inclusive representation, and responsive leadership.”
