Veteran Nollywood actor, Vitalis Ndubuisi has counselled people to keep personal struggles private, saying frequent exposure does not provide understanding or alleviation.
Speaking in a video message, the actor said one of the most important life lessons he has learned over the years is the practice of telling people everything that is wrong about you.
According to him, people frequently think that talking about their issues will make them feel better, but they later find that it doesn’t accomplish much.

He also explained that no one can fully solve another person’s issue because they are not personally affected by it.
Instead of expecting others to solve their problems, Ndubuisi counselled people to keep their issues to themselves.
“Sharing too much can sometimes push people away and create distance in relationships. One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned in life is to stop telling people everything that is wrong with you.
“It’s a big mistake to think that after explaining what you’re going through, people will offer relief.
“Later, you may discover that such outpouring achieves little because nobody truly understands the full weight of your problem since they are not there with you.
Sometimes, after explaining everything to them, they even start distancing themselves from you. So keep your problems to yourself”, he said.
