Borno APC Stakeholders Endorses Tinubu, Shettima


The Borno State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) critical stakeholders have endorsed President Bola Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima for the 2027 Presidential election, vowing to mobilise support for the APC in the forthcoming general elections.

Addressing APC critical stakeholders at the Multipurpose Hall of the Government House, Maiduguri, on Saturday, Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno State, urged the stakeholders and party members not to allow the choice of his successor to divide them.

Zulum noted, “Power belongs to God, and He alone gives power; we should not allow the choice of my successor to divide us. Bormo.APV has always been one United family.

“I have always been fair and loyal to my boss, Vice President Kashim Shettima, and respect is reciprocal; if I respect someone above me, those that below me will also respect me.

” Peace and security are paramount, and we should not allow anything to disrupt the fragile peace we have been enjoying”, he added.

Earlier, in his speech, the Deputy National Chairman North of the APC, Hon. Ali Bukar Dalori, said Borno has always been a home of the APC, and by the Grace of God, the state will remain an APC state.

“I hereby move the motion for the endorsement of President Tinubu Kashim Shettima come 2027. Do you endorse them and pledge to support all APC candidates?” he quertued.

The Deputy chairman said the APC in Borno state has always been speaking in one voice and believes it would continue as such.

In his welcome address, the Borno state APC chairman, Hon Bello. Ayubs thanked all the stakeholders for answering the invitation to the party, stressing that this shows that the party still remains one family.

He called for continued unity among all party members and urged them to continue to pray for the party leaders in the state and the country at large.
