Uzor Arukwe’s Birthday Surprise For Bam Bam Sparks Reactions

Nollywood actor Uzor Arukwe has once again stirred social media conversation with his affectionate display towards his on-screen partner, Olawunmi Adenibuyan, popularly known as Bam Bam.

Netizens’ reaction followed a post shared on his official Instagram page on Thursday, April 23, 2026, where the actor was asking his fans for recommendations on birthday presents for the actress, whose birthday fell on the same day.

The actor disclosed plans to host a party in a library as part of a surprise for her, urging admirers and well-wishers to make a donation by buying tables, which are available in two categories, or by choosing products from her birthday wishlist, which includes, among other things, clothing, technology, and wigs.

The gesture comes months after rumours of a marital crisis between Bam Bam and her husband, Teddy A.

Although neither party has publicly addressed the situation, subtle signs have fuelled speculation.

Speaking on the rumours in an earlier interview with BBC Igbo in March, Arukwe dismissed claims of a romantic relationship between himself and the married actress, which arose following their roles in a film together.

He clarified that he was cautious not to endanger Bam Bam’s marriage by keeping a professional demeanour on set and spoke to her about boundaries before acting out scenes involving physical contact.

Despite the rumours, their ongoing cooperation points to a solid working relationship that seems to go beyond the screen.
