Ex-Commissioner Seeks Recreational Facilities For Alimosho Youths

Achieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), and the immediate past Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Lagos State, Pharm (Mrs.) Uzamat Akinbile-Yussuf has called for provision of more recreational centres for youths in the federal constituency said.

Akinbile-Yussuf, who served in four different ministries under Governor Akinwunmi Ambode and Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, explained that Alimosho is the largest local government area in the southwestern zone of the country; hence, federal intervention is needed to address critical challenges confronting the lives of people in the constituency.

“Alimosho is the largest local government area in Lagos State, but poor. There is therefore a need to empower and lift the poor by attracting federal government intervention in such a large council area like ours.

“For instance, there is a need for an entertainment centre and technology hub in Alimosho where young persons can enjoy leisure, network, and help in using technology to solve problems.

The Federal Government is trying, but we need more federal interventions to guarantee a better life for our people in Alimosho.”
