Easter: Season Of Renewed Faith, Endless Grace

Former Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Dr Betta Edu, has facilitated with Christians on the Easter celebration, enjoining them to learn from the lesson of the festive period.

In a press release issued by her Chief Press Secretary, Mr Rasheed Olarenwaju, the erstwhile Minister said the celebration reminds Christians of “A powerful reminder of hope, victory, and the reality of a new beginning for humanity..

The statement reads, “This season reminds us of the beauty of the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross for the redemption of Mankind. He was innocent, yet persecuted and crucified.

“Evil thought it won, but it was all part of God’s script and plan to save the world!”

“As we reflect on the true meaning of this sacred celebration, may we draw strength from the ultimate sacrifice and embrace a life of compassion, kindness, and unwavering faith in all that we do.

“In this season of hope and renewal, I wish you and your loved ones a joyful Easter, filled with happiness, warmth, and abundant blessings that will remain with you always.

“May the blessings of Easter continue to guide our path, bringing us peace, prosperity, and divine favour in every aspect of our lives.”
