C’River Speaker, Ayambem Felicitates Christians


The Speaker of the Cross River State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Elvert Ayambem has extended warm Easter greetings to Christians across the State, calling for unity, love, and renewed hope.

In his Easter message, Ayambem said the celebration of Easter represents the sacrifice, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, which symbolises victory over death and offers hope for humanity.

He urged citizens to reflect on the core values of the season, including humility, selflessness, and peaceful coexistence, stressing that these virtues remain critical to the growth and development of the State.

The Speaker also called on Cross Riverians to continue supporting government initiatives and to remain committed to peace and unity, noting that collective effort is key to achieving meaningful progress.

Rt. Hon. Ayambem expressed optimism that the lessons of Easter would inspire stronger faith and a shared commitment to building a more peaceful and prosperous Cross River.
