A’Ibom Gov Congratulates AIG Akpanudom On His Appointment 


Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has congratulated the Assistant Inspector-General of Police, AIG Simeon Udofia Akpanudom, on his appointment as AIG in charge of the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) Annex, Alagbon, Lagos, as approved by the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM.

In a message of congratulations released by his Chief Press Secretary, Ekerete Udoh, Governor Eno thanked the IGP for the confidence he has reposed in AIG Akpanudom, expressing confidence that he will bring to bear in his new assignment the Akwa Ibom defining values of integrity, hard work, excellent delivery and deep sense of transparency.

The Governor described the appointment as a source of pride to the State, noting that AIG Akpanudom is the first indigene of Akwa Ibom to occupy the position, and assured of the State’s continued collaboration with the Nigeria Police Force.

“On behalf of the Government and people of Akwa Ibom State, I congratulate you on this well-deserved appointment and wish you success in your new role.”
