Infinity Trust Mortgage Bank Reports 95% Profit Growth


Infinity Trust Mortgage Bank Plc has reported a 95 per cent increase in profit after tax to N2.9bn for the year ended 31 December 2025, up from N1.48bn recorded in the corresponding period of 2024.

The unaudited financial statements released by the bank recently on the Nigerian Exchange Limited show that profit before tax rose by 75 per cent to N3.02bn in 2025, compared with N1.72bn in the previous year.

Turnover increased by 50 per cent to N6.61bn from N4.39bn in 2024, driven largely by higher interest income, which grew by 54 per cent to N5.53bn from N3.58bn a year earlier. Interest expense also rose by 65 per cent to N1.87bn, up from N1.13bn in 2024.

Net interest income stood at N3.67bn, representing a 50 per cent increase from the N2.45bn recorded in the prior year.

Net fee and commission income climbed by 182 per cent to N282.6m from N100.2m in 2024, while other operating income rose by 13 per cent to N799.1m from N710.1m.

Total operating income increased by 46 per cent to N4.75bn, compared with N3.26bn in the previous year. Credit loss expense declined by 59 per cent to N81.0m from N199.4m, improving net operating income by 52 per cent to N4.67bn.

Total operating expenses rose by 23 per cent to N1.65bn from N1.34bn, reflecting higher personnel and administrative costs.

On the balance sheet, total assets grew by 78 per cent to N44.74bn as at 31 December 2025, up from N25.15bn in 2024. Loans and advances to customers increased by 85 per cent to N30.00bn from N16.19bn, while deposits from customers rose by 82 per cent to N10.83bn from N5.96bn.

Total equity stood at N12.72bn, representing a 38 per cent increase from N9.21bn in the previous year.

Earnings per share improved by 94 per cent to 69 kobo, compared with 35.52 kobo recorded in 2024.
