Why Couples Should Give Birth To More Children

Nigerian Afrobeats singer Korede Bello has called on couples to have more children, arguing that doing so increases the likelihood of geniuses being born.

Bello, who made this call in a video message shared on his social media page, made reference to the late Michael Jackson as an example.

The singer noted that the music icon was the seventh child of his parents, and he was an iconic singer and dancer until his death.

According to him, Jackson would not have existed if his parents had chosen to have fewer children.

The ‘God Win’ crooner expressed concern that many couples today limit themselves to one child or none at all, describing it as increasingly rare to see young couples with three children.

He acknowledged that the new trend of fewer children is mostly caused by economic issues, but questioned where such a trend could lead.

Bello said, “I have been wondering, what if Michael Jackson’s mother had stopped at two or six kids? He was the seventh.

“Imagine a world without him just because she chose fewer children. Now many people are having just one child. It is very rare to find a young couple with three kids these days.

“What is going on with the fewer kids people are having nowadays. I understand that the economic situation limits our desires to populate the earth.

“But how are we going to continue like this? Are we ever going to get to a place where the house will be filled with children again? We need more Michael Jacksons.”
