We’re Not Scared Of Any Candidate In Adamawa –APC Vice Chair

Immediate past National Vice Chairman (North East) of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mustapha Salihu, has expressed confidence in his ambition to govern Adamawa State, declaring that he is prepared for both direct primaries and consensus arrangements ahead of the 2027 governorship election.

Salihu spoke in Abuja after submitting his nomination and expression of interest forms to contest the governorship election under the platform of the APC.

Asked how certain he was of clinching the party’s ticket, the former APC chieftain said politics remained a game of opportunity and preparation.

“In the game of politics, it’s nothing like being sure or not being sure. It’s a game of luck, and luck, as defined by most scholars, is when preparation meets opportunity.

I’m prepared, and I have the opportunity to run, so by the grace of God, luck is on my side,” he said. He expressed optimism that with divine support and the backing of the people of Adamawa State, he would emerge as the party’s governorship candidate.
