Threshing Floor Watchman Assembly Incorporation has consecrated and installed Ovye John-Attah as a new Bishop to oversee the Ministry in Nasarawa state.
The event was graced by ministers, clergymen, traditional rulers, and Christians from across other denominations within and outside the state.
Speaking at the event, General Overseer of the church, Archbishop Gimbright Adaigho, described the new Bishop as God’s servant tested in doctrine, character, and service.
He astonished the Bishop, other ministers of God, and members of the Church to continue to pursue holiness, unity, and evangelism to win more souls for Chris.
The Archbishop urged Christians to remain steadfast amid current economic and security challenges confronting the nation.
Adaigho stated that what the nation needs more now is to raise intercessors rather than politicians in the face of the current challenges confronting it.
In his message, the new Bishop pledged to build on the foundation laid and to strengthen the church’s mandate of watching, praying, and preaching the undiluted word of God.
“My assignment is simple: to watch over the flock, raise watchmen for the nation, and ensure that the Threshing Floor remains a place where destinies are transformed,” he said.
In his goodwill message, chairman of the Christians Association of Nigeria (CAN) in Nasarawa state, Rev. Sunday Emmah, congratulated the new bishop and urged him to use his office to promote peace and unity among Christians and adherence in the state and beyond.
