Seyi Tinubu Reacts As Cubana Chief Priest Loses APC Reps Primary


Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu has reacted to the outcome of the All Progressives Congress (APC) House of Representatives primary election held on Saturday, 16 May, 2026 following the loss of Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, a high-profile Nigerian socialite, nightlife entrepreneur.

In a post shared on his Instagram story, Seyi Tinubu urged the popular socialite to remain resilient, offering words of encouragement to Cubana Chief Priest following his loss.

He noted that setbacks can often lead to greater victories.

“Sometimes by losing a battle, you find a new way to win the war. Keep your head up… We know what you are capable of achieving,” he wrote.

Cubana Chief Priest had contested in the APC primary held on Saturday but did not emerge as the party’s candidate.

The APC primaries are part of the party’s ongoing process to select candidates ahead of upcoming elections across the country.
