Chelsea FC manager Liam Rosenior has firmly dismissed speculation linking Alejandro Garnacho with a possible summer exit, questioning the credibility of the reports and reiterating his focus on the winger’s development.
According to updates shared on X by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Rosenior responded directly to rumours surrounding the Manchester United attacker’s future by casting doubt on their origin.
“I’d like to know the source of the report,” he remarked, suggesting there is little substance behind the claims.

Rosenior went further to underline Garnacho’s immense potential, highlighting both his age and the qualities that make him a key player to nurture.

“Garna is 21. Garna is someone who has special qualities when he is in a good place and he’s in good form,” he said, pointing to the importance of consistency and the right environment in unlocking the youngster’s best performances. “And my job is to help him reach those levels.”
The Chelsea boss made it clear that, despite the noise surrounding the player’s long-term future, there have been no internal discussions pointing toward a possible departure.
Rather than engaging in transfer speculation, Rosenior stressed that his priority is firmly rooted in coaching responsibility, ensuring Garnacho continues to grow, improve, and deliver consistently at a high level.
Amid increasing rumours in recent days, Rosenior’s comments serve as a strong indication that the club’s focus remains on player development and stability, with no immediate plans to part ways with the promising winger.
