Bayern opened the scoring through Harry Kane, who converted from the penalty spot after a foul on Luis Díaz, making history as the first English player to score in six consecutive Champions League matches. PSG responded swiftly, with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia levelling before João Neves headed them into the lead.

Michael Olise brought Bayern back on level terms, but PSG regained control just before the break as Ousmane Dembélé converted a penalty in stoppage time following a handball by Alphonso Davies.

The French side carried that momentum into the second half, with Kvaratskhelia grabbing his second of the night before Dembélé added a fifth to put PSG in a commanding position.

Bayern, however, refused to back down. Dayot Upamecano reduced the deficit with a header from a Joshua Kimmich free-kick, and Luis Díaz’s composed finish brought the scoreline to 5–4, setting up a tense finale.

PSG nearly extended their lead late on when Senny Mayulu struck the crossbar, but they held firm to secure a landmark 100th Champions League victory. The win also marked Luis Enrique’s 50th triumph in the competition, achieved quicker than any other manager.
