Galatasaray have slammed the door on potential suitors for Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen, designating the Nigerian striker as “Untouchable” despite mounting interest from the Premier League and La Liga clubs.
The Turkish champions have allegedly notified interested parties that they do not plan to negotiate a summer transfer for their record signing.
New Telegraph reports that the 27-year-old striker has become the focal point of Galatasaray’s local supremacy since finalising his transfer last summer in a record €75 million agreement.
Osimhen has validated that spending by netting 29 goals in all competitions this season, featuring a crucial goal in Sunday’s 3-0 victory in the Intercontinental Derby against Fenerbahçe.

Arsenal’s sporting director, Andrea Berta, personally observed that performance, attending specifically to evaluate the striker for the approaching transfer window.
Apart from Arsenal, Spanish powerhouses Real Madrid and Barcelona are believed to be monitoring Osimhen’s situation. Turkish reports indicate that Barcelona has made unofficial inquiries, but Galatasaray’s price tag is thought to exceed €150 million—a sum meant to deter all but the most substantial offers.
Club officials maintain their assurance based on Osimhen’s contract status and his evident happiness in Istanbul.
The Super Eagles player is signed until June 2029 and has built a strong connection with the “Cimbom” supporters, making an exit improbable. Insiders at the club suggest that only a direct appeal from the player would alter the board’s stance, a situation not expected at this time.
Osimhen’s primary attention is still on the field as Galatasaray is close to making history. A win over Samsunspor this weekend would earn the club its 26th Süper Lig title and fourth consecutive championship. As the league title is close to being determined, the club is now turning its attention to the 2026/27 UEFA Champions League, with Osimhen seen as a crucial element of their European goals
