NIPR Inducts NIMASA Director, Jimoh As Fellow

The Director of Administration and Human Resources of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Mrs Moji A. Jimoh, has been formally inducted into the Fellowship of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR).

The agency’s Deputy Director/Head Public Relations, Osagie Edward, said on Thursday that a fellow is the highest membership cadre of the Institute, awarded to members who have practised for more than 10 years.

The induction, which took place during the Nigerian Public Relations Week (NPRW) dubbed Croc City 2026 in Kaduna under the theme: “Food Security: From Public Policy to Public Plate”, also featured high-level discussions on overcoming hunger in Africa, amongst other issues.

The professional fellowship of the institute was awarded to Moji Jimoh and 15 others by the President and Chairman of the Council of the NIPR, Dr Ike Neliaku in a colourful event that was held at the new banquet hall of the Kaduna State Government House, where the 5-day conference took place.

Candidates for fellowship must pass a rigorous screening assessment, which includes evidence of contribution to the body of knowledge of Public Relations, presentations and oral interviews.
