NAGA Congratulates Atiku, Calls On Nigerians To Rally Behind Him

The Nigerian Advocacy for Good Governance Alliance (NAGA Diaspora) has congratulated former Vice President Alhaji Atiku Abubakar “On winning the nomination of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and on his continued leadership and unwavering commitment to the Nigerian project.

In a statement jointly signed by its Global Coordinator, Tope Adesipo and Secretary, Ajede, on Friday, NAGA said, “At this critical moment in our nation’s history, Atiku Abubakar stands as the candidate who best carries the hopes and aspirations of millions of Nigerians both at home and in the Diaspora.”

They added in the statement that Atiku’s vision of unity, economic revival, security, and genuine democratic reform resonates deeply with citizens, who they said yearn for a Nigeria that works for everyone, and not just a privileged few.

“We therefore call on all Nigerians, irrespective of party, region, ethnicity or religion, to rally round Atiku Abubakar and work collectively to defeat the current administration of President Bola Tinubu in the interest of our country.

“The time for change has come. Nigerians deserve better leadership that prioritizes competence, transparency, and inclusive development over the hardship and division that have defined the past three years,” the statement read.

According to them, “NAGA remains firmly committed to good governance, accountability, and the enthronement of purposeful leadership.

“We stand ready to support any genuine effort that puts Nigeria on the path of progress, and we believe Atiku Abubakar currently embodies that hope.”

They then urged “all well-meaning Nigerians, civil society groups, youth movements, and professionals in the Diaspora to close ranks and mobilize massively behind this cause,” adding that the future of the country depends on the choices the people make today.
