Hunye Congratulates APC Consensus Candidate


A governorship aspirant under the platform of All Progressives Congress in Ogun State, Abayomi Hunye, has congratulated the Senator representing Ogun West Senatorial District, Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (Yayi), as the party’s consensus governorship candidate for the 2027 elections in the state.

Governor Dapo Abiodun, at the APC Strategic Caucus Meeting held recently in Abeokuta, had declared Adeola as the governorship flagbearer of the party.

In his reaction, Hunye declared support for Adeola, congratulating him on his emergence as the consensus candidate of our party.

He said: “I extend my congratulations and wish him the very best. “I am equally grateful to the state and national leaders of our great party for the privilege of taking part in the nomination process.

“Consequent upon these developments, I hereby support the decision of the party and declare my support to ensure the party wins at the forthcoming election.

“My heartfelt thanks are to God and all my supporters across Ogun State. “Your patience, steadfast support, and solid trust in me will not be taken for granted.”
