Group Backs Umeadi For Reps Seat

Concerned Stakeholders for Good Governance and Progressive Representation, Amuwo Odofin Federal Constituency, have signalled out Hon. Azubuike Emmanuel Umeadi as the most credible aspirant for the green chamber seat ahead of the 2027 general elections.

In a statement signed by the group’s convener, Adesiyan Adebola, Umeadi’s leadership qualities, sense of industry and people-oriented approach were cited as his endearing features, which position him as the best man to occupy the Amuwo Odofin Federal Constituency seat at the Federal House of Representatives, Abuja.

The group maintained that Umeadi, who is aspiring for the seat on the platform of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) is quite experienced and ready for the legislative tasks ahead.

He had shown interest in the seat in the 2023 general elections and has remained resolute in contributing his quota to the advancement of the Amuwo Odofin Federal Constituency ever since.

The statement read: “As political realignments gather momentum ahead of the 2027 general elections, critical stakeholders, community leaders, youth groups, women associations, professionals, and progressive political blocs across Amuwo Odofin Federal Constituency are increasingly rallying around one name as the most credible, competent, and people-oriented candidate to represent the constituency at the Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Engr. Azubuike Emmanuel Umeadi, under the platform of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and with the anticipated support of a broad-based rainbow coalition of progressive political interests.

“Hon. Engr. Azubuike Emmanuel Umeadi is not a newcomer to the political development of Amuwo Odofin. His earlier indication of interest in serving during the 2023 general elections inspired widespread enthusiasm among constituents who saw in him a refreshing blend of technocratic excellence, entrepreneurial success, and grassroots accessibility.

“While circumstances at the time denied the constituency the opportunity to benefit from his vision-driven leadership, that moment has only strengthened the conviction among the people that 2027 presents a historic opportunity to correct that setback.”

The group, which is peopled by virtually all demographic representations in Amuwo Odofin Federal Constituency, pinpoints the capabilities of Umeadi for the green chamber business, having done quite well in all other ventures.

“A prolific serial entrepreneur of remarkable distinction, Hon. Umeadi has built an enviable legacy of enterprise and job creation through strategic investments spanning oil and gas, hospitality, finance, furniture production, and building construction.

“His business footprint reflects not only exceptional leadership capacity but also a practical understanding of economic growth, employment generation, and sustainable development.

“What distinguishes Hon. Umeadi is his rare ability to merge private sector excellence with a genuine passion for public service.

“His deep understanding of infrastructure development, youth empowerment, economic expansion, and social welfare positions him as the candidate best equipped to deliver purposeful representation for Amuwo Odofin.

“At a time when constituents demand competent representation, strategic legislative engagement, and measurable impact, Hon. Engr. Azubuike Emmanuel Umeadi stands tall as the bridge between aspiration and delivery.

“The call is therefore clear: the ADC and all progressive political stakeholders across party lines must unite behind this tested, visionary, and result-oriented leader for the collective advancement of Amuwo Odofin Federal Constituency in 2027. He represents competence, capacity and a very rewarding future.”
