Grammy-nominated Nigerian Afrobeats singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has apologised to his fans after missing a planned performance in Lagos, attributing the situation to challenges in obtaining aviation fuel.
New Telegraph reports that Davido was scheduled to headline a show alongside Zlatan Ibile on Sunday, May 3, as part of the celebration of Secret Place’s fifth anniversary in Ikate Elegushi.
However, fans who had assembled for the event reacted when Davido failed to show up.
Speaking on the development, the DMW boss clarified that his travel plans had to be rescheduled due to logistical issues caused by gasoline shortages in a post that was later shared on his Instagram story on Monday.
