American-born Nigerian Afrobeats singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has confirmed he and American R&B singer, Chris Brown, will release a joint album next year.
The DMW boss made this disclosure on Tuesday, April 22, during an appearance on the Swift Conversations podcast.
According to the celebrated singer, the current music focuses on African sounds and features production from longtime Nigerian collaborators.

“The music I am making now is very African. In this next project, I am working with a lot of my original producers from back home.
“However, I am still an American, so definitely there’s going to be collaborations. Me, and Chris Brown got an album coming next year,” he stated.
He added that collaborations with U.S. artists remain part of his plans. Davido and Chris Brown first collaborated on the 2019 track Blow My Mind.
The pair have teased a joint project since 2023, when Davido revealed they had multiple unreleased tracks together.
