Campaign C’ttee Unveils Media Centre For Adeleke’s

The Imole Campaign Council (TICC), the campaign committee for the re-election of Governor Ademola Adeleke, yesterday inaugurated a media centre ahead of the August 15 Osun governorship election.

The council said the initiative was aimed at mobilising support for the governor’s re-election.

Speaking at the unveiling of the media centre in Osogbo, the DirectorGeneral of TICC, Sen. Lere Oyewumi, said the campaign would focus on issue-based engagement and the promotion of the administration’s achievements.

Oyewumi commended residents for their continued support for Adeleke’s administration and praised the media for what he described as a constructive partnership with the government.

He said the campaign would prioritise facts, truth and respectful engagement, rather than negative politics allegedly promoted by opposition parties. Oyewumi said the administration had improved the state’s financial position inherited from the previous government.

According to him, the state’s domestic debt was reduced from N148 billion in December 2022 to N83.32 billion in the first quarter of 2025, representing a 43.84 per cent decrease.
