APM Gov’ship Flagbearers Seek Blessings, Pledge Service To Bauchi


The governorship candidate of the Allied People’s Movement (APM) in Bauchi State, Dr Yakubu Adamu, alongside his running mate, Hon. Mohamood Babamaji, has paid a courtesy visit to the wife of the Governor, Hajiya (Dr.) Aisha Bala Mohammed, in a move described as a thank-you and goodwill engagement.

The visit, held in Bauchi, was part of efforts by the APM candidates to appreciate the support and encouragement they have received since emerging as flag bearers of the party ahead of the 2027 elections.

Dr Yakubu Adamu expressed appreciation for the governor’s wife, noting her continuous contributions to peacebuilding and political stability in the state.

He said the visit was also an opportunity to reaffirm their readiness to serve the people of Bauchi with integrity and commitment if elected.

His running mate, Hon. Mohamood Babamaji, also thanked her for the warm reception and described her as a strong advocate of unity and development.

Responding, Hajiya Aisha Bala Mohammed congratulated the duo and urged them to remain focused on issues of service delivery and good governance.

She encouraged them to pursue their political ambitions with sincerity and a strong sense of responsibility toward the people, offering prayers for their success and wishing them wisdom and guidance in their political journey.

The engagement was described by observers as a gesture reinforcing political civility and respect among actors in Bauchi State ahead of the 2027 general elections.
