APC Extends Sale, Submission Deadlines For Election Forms


The All Progressives Congress (APC) has extended the deadlines for the sale and submission of Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms for the 2027 general elections.

The decision was approved by the party’s National Working Committee (NWC) at a meeting held at its national secretariat in Abuja on Thursday.

Speaking to journalists after the meeting, the APC Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Durosinmi Meseko, announced that the sale of forms will now close at midnight on Monday, May 4, 2026.

He added that the submission of completed forms and accompanying documents has been extended to midnight on Tuesday, May 5, 2026.

Originally, the sale of forms was scheduled to end on May 2, while submission of completed forms was to close on May 4.

Meseko explained that the extension was necessitated by the public holiday observed nationwide on Friday, as well as the high level of interest shown by aspirants across the country.
