Lagos State Deputy Governor, Obafemi Hamzat on Saturday secured clearance from the All Progressives Congress (APC) Governorship Screening Committee ahead of the party’s primaries for the 2027 election.

Speaking after appearing before the screening panel in Abuja, Hamzat expressed gratitude for receiving a clean bill of approval.

The APC consensus candidate emphasized that his aspiration is rooted in service and a commitment to the people of Lagos.

“Today in Abuja, I appeared before the APC Governorship Screening Committee ahead of our party primaries. I am grateful for the clean bill of approval and clearance to move forward.
