Afrobeats singer Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, has disclosed that he ended a previous relationship because his ex-girlfriend was manipulative.
The singer described the relationship as “beautiful but not peaceful” in an interview with YouTuber Korty EO.

He claimed that he frequently had to cope with a great deal of strain from his profession and the public, anticipating that his home would be a place to recuperate.
Instead, he encountered more stress and confusion there, which eventually became intolerable.
Rema claimed that the circumstances ultimately caused him to end the relationship and that he isn’t looking for another right now.
“My romantic relationship was beautiful but a little quite manipulative. So much pressure. Knowing the world puts so much pressure on me but coming back home is where you want to feel relieved but when you come back home and you are getting more pressure, it’s a different story. For now, I’m done,” he said.
