Ajadi Congratulates Makinde Over Emergence As APM Presidential Candidate

The Oyo Central Senatorial candidate of the Allied People’s Movement (APM), Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi, has congratulated the Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde on his emergence as the party Presidential candidate in a primary election conducted across the 36 States and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) on Saturday, saying that his emergence will change the Nation’s political story.

Saturday Telegraph had earlier reported that the Governor was presented Certificate of Return by the APM National Chairman, Alhaji Yusuf Dantali, during a ceremony held in Ibadan, which was attended by party leaders, delegates, supporters, and political associates from across the country.

In a statement he issued and signed after the primary, Ajadi described Makinde’s victory as deserving, saying those who know his antecedents in politics and governance are not surprised by the feat he has recorded as the Oyo State Governor, and what he can do as President of Nigeria.

Ajadi said the victory is a testimony to Makinde’s quality leadership and dedication to the upliftment of Nigeria’s democracy, saying, “With Makinde’s emergence, the APM is ready to take over the reins of power come 2027.

“APM with Makinde as the presidential candidate will improve the lives of Nigerians and rescue them from the hardship foisted on them in the last three years”.

In the release, Ajadi said, “I congratulate our leader, Engr Seyi Makinde on his victory at the APM’s presidential primary today. We are happy that Nigerians and our party members across the country have appreciated your leadership.

“We see you as the Messiah Nigerians have been desirously expecting. With your leadership, our party is sure of winning the next year’s presidential election.

“The APM under your leadership will deliver Nigerians from the hardship foisted on them by the APC- led administration in the past years”, he said.

While corroborating the APM National Chairman, Alhaji Yusuf Dantali stated that “Makinde possesses the leadership qualities, experience, and vision needed to provide direction for the country.”

Ajadi used the medium to call on party members nationwide to rally behind the presidential candidate and intensify grassroots mobilisation efforts ahead of the 2027 presidential election, while wishing him a successful campaign and victory for the party.
