Nigerian singer, Akinyinka Kuham Oladimeji widely known as BhadBoi OML has officially parted ways with Dapper Music and is set to continue his career as an independent artiste.
The announcement was made through a statement shared on Instagram, where the musician disclosed that both his recording and business ties with Dapper Music and Dapper Digital have come to an end.
Going forward, the artiste will manage his career independently alongside his present management team.

The statement also noted that all future bookings, collaborations, partnerships, and other professional engagements involving the singer should now be handled through his official management channels.
“This is to formally notify the public, fans, partners, and stakeholders that BhadBoi OML has concluded his active recording and business relationship with Dapper Music and Dapper Digital and will henceforth operate independently through his current management team.
“Accordingly, all official bookings, partnerships, business enquiries, and professional engagements concerning the artist should now be directed through his official management channels”, the statement reads.
BhadBoi OML also expressed gratitude to Dapper Music founder Damilola Akinwunmi and members of the label for their contribution to his career journey so far.
“The artist and his team express sincere appreciation to Mr. Damilola Akinwunmi and the entire Dapper team for their support and contributions throughout this phase of the journey,” the statement added.
The singer further thanked his supporters for standing by him and reaffirmed his dedication to making more music while expanding his reach globally.
“We appreciate everyone who has continued to support the movement and remain committed to the future, the music, and continued global growth”, it concluded.
Dapper Music has built a reputation for developing emerging talents in the Nigerian music scene. During his time with the label, BhadBoi OML released the six-track EP ‘Kaizen.’
His hit track ‘Wasiu Ayinde’ later earned recognition from TikTok as one of Nigeria’s leading summer songs of 2025, topping the platform’s list.
