Bauchi State First Lady, Ambassador Hajiya Dr Aisha Bala Mohammed, has urged Muslims to remember widows, the less privileged, and vulnerable persons during the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations.
In her Sallah message to Muslims in Bauchi State and across Nigeria, the governor’s wife said the festival symbolises sacrifice, compassion, and obedience to Allah.
The message was contained in a statement signed by Zainab Garba Musa, Senior Information Officer in the Office of the Wife of the Governor of Bauchi State.
She appealed to residents to extend acts of kindness and charity to those in need, stressing the importance of love, patience, and peaceful coexistence.
Aisha Bala Mohammed also encouraged citizens to offer prayers for peace, development, and prosperity in Bauchi State and the country at large.
She expressed appreciation to the people of the state for their support and solidarity with the current administration, pledging continued commitment to initiatives that uplift women, children, and families.
