Anambra APC Mobilises For Tinubu Ahead Of Presidential Primary Election

Anambra State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has commenced mobilisation of party members for the return of President Ahmed Bola Tinubu ahead of the Presidential primary election across the country.

The mobilisation, which has commenced at the wards and Local Government levels, is aimed at showing solidarity and massive support for the President.

According to the state Chairman of the party, Sen Emma Anosike, who spoke to reporters in Awka on Friday, “Tomorrow is the Presidential primary election, and we are now preparing to make sure that our President, Ahmed Bola Tinubu, emerges tomorrow, and we are going to mobilise all our members of our party, and I mean all registered members of our party.

“We shall be there to go to the field ward by ward because the election is a direct primary election.

“We shall be at the wards to interface and all of us, the state executive members, would be there to interface and supervise whatever is happening.

Anosike expressed the gratitude of members to Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State for his great assistance towards the party in Anambra, noting that his role in the revival of the party in the area is immeasurable.

“We thank the Governor General of Imo State, Sen Hope Uzodimma, who has been making it possible for us to pull through, and we know that some people call us orphans, but with Hope Uzodimma, we are not orphans”, he said.

Speaking on the just-concluded State and National Assembly primary elections in the area, Anosike said.

“As I speak to you, we have 27 candidates for the House of Assembly, 11 Federal House of Representatives candidates and three Senatorial candidates for the general elections, which has not happened before in the APC Anambra state.

“We have just concluded a major assignment for our party, which is the primary elections for the state and National Assembly.

“I wish to tell you it was a free, fair, and transparent election, and the turnout of our members was great, and that tells the world that we are on the ground and ready for the main general election.

“I want to use this opportunity to thank all members of APC for their support and anybody that has a soft spot for APC, beginning from the Ward to the local government to the state, and of course to the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and we want to thank everybody for the election that went well.

“Even the ones that were listed were certified, and we send our gratitude to the committees that came from Abuja because they did very well and managed the environment very well,” he noted.
