The North West Director of Contact and Mobilisation for the Asiwaju/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council in the 2023 general election, Aminu Sani Jaji, has clinched the return ticket on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Kaura Namoda/ Birnin Magaji Federal Constituency for the 2027 general election.

Aminu Jaji, who served as the returning officer for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s 2023 general election in the North West Zone, scored 37,064 votes to defeat his major contender Hassan Umar, who scored 1,400 votes.

Announcing the results, the Chairman of the APC National Assembly Primary Election Committee for Zamfara State, Dr Bello Maigari, declared Dr Aminu Sani Jaji as the winner of the APC Primaries and the authentic party’s flag bearer for Kaura Namoda /Birnin Magaji Federal Constituency in the 2027 general elections.

The Chairman of the committee explained that APC held a hitch-free exercise under the supervision of the election committee from Abuja, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), the media, security agencies, party stakeholders and loyalists.

Speaking to newsmen shortly after the exercise, the Honourable member representing Kaura Namoda Birnin Magaji Federal Constituency, Hon Aminu Sani Jaji, applauded the peaceful and orderly conduct of the APC primary election in his constituency.

The Lawmaker also thanked the Zamfara State All Progressives Congress APC and the entire critical stakeholders of the party for the cooperation that ensured the successful conduct of the exercise.

Hon Aminu Jaji expressed satisfaction and was deeply humbled by the overwhelming confidence reposed in him by APC members across the 21 electoral wards of Kaura Namoda/ Birnin Magaji Federal Constituency who voted for him during the exercise.

He explained that this honour comes with an even greater responsibility to serve the people with renewed commitment, dedication, sincerity and results -driven representation, pointing out that he will continue to remain committed to pursuing initiatives and opportunities that will continue to uplift the constituency and meet the yearnings and aspirations of the electorate.

Jaji further informed the people of the constituency that “Together, we shall continue to support the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR and the purposeful leadership of Governor Dauda Lawal for a new and greater Zamfara State and a better Nigeria”.
