TechNexus Limited, in partnership with the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), has announced the Port Harcourt Tech Expo 2026, themed “Syntropy.”
The two-day technology conference and exhibition is scheduled to hold on Thursday, June 11, and Friday, June 12, 2026, at the EUI Events Centre in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
According to the organisers, the annual expo is expected to bring together entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers, technology professionals, and creatives from across the Niger Delta, other parts of Nigeria, and the diaspora.
In a statement on Wednesday, the Managing Director of TechNexus, Belema George, said the 2026 edition would feature keynote addresses, panel discussions, startup pitch competitions, product demonstrations, and networking sessions.
He explained that the event is designed to promote technology-driven economic growth in Rivers State and the wider South-South region.
George noted that the theme, “Syntropy,” was inspired by the concept of constructive synergy, reflecting the belief that collaboration among innovators, investors, and institutions can accelerate regional development.
He said the partnership with the Niger Delta Development Commission aligns with the commission’s mandate to drive sustainable development in the Niger Delta through innovation and strategic investments.
He added that several private sector stakeholders, including financial institutions, energy firms, and telecommunications companies operating in the region, have also thrown their support behind the initiative.
According to him, the event is expected to position the Niger Delta as a growing hub for innovation and enterprise.
“The Port Harcourt Tech Expo is our declaration that the Niger Delta is open for innovation. We are building a platform where the brightest minds in our region can connect with resources, mentorship, and market access needed to thrive. Syntropy is not just an event; it is the beginning of a movement,” George said.
He further noted that TechNexus Limited remains open to additional sponsors and partners committed to supporting the digital and economic advancement of the Niger Delta.
