The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has extended the deadline for the collection of Expression of Interest Forms for legislative and governorship aspirants ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The party, in a statement signed by its National Secretary, Ikenna Morgan Enekweizu, announced that the deadline earlier scheduled to end at 6p.m. on May 17, has now been shifted to 12midnight on May 24. A
ccording to the statement, the extension applies to aspirants contesting for seats in the State Houses of Assembly, House of Representatives, Senate, and Governorship positions.
The party, however, declared that the collection of Expression of Interest Forms for the Office of the President has officially closed.
NDC further disclosed that screening of aspirants who have purchased and completed the Expression of Interest Forms will commence on May 19, and end on May 26.
