Ebonyi Chair, Emegha Congratulates Winners


The Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Ebonyi State, Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha, has congratulated winners of the party primaries for the senate and House of Representative.

In a statement he issued in Abakaliki and he personally signed, Emegha felicitated with the winners for the masses trust on them.

“I write to convey profound gratitude on behalf of the APC Ebonyi State Working Committee to Governor Francis Nwifuru, whose leadership ingenuity, peaceful disposition and incredible support ensured the successful conduct of our great party’s National Assembly Primary Election in the State.”

The Statement further stated, “Governor Nwifuru exemplary governance facilitated a credible, transparent, peaceful primary election, we heartily appreciate and cherish your commitment to democratic values and for allowing the collective will of party members to prevail.”

Emegha appreciated revered stakeholders, particularly the Minister of Works David Umahi, former Secretary to the Government of the Federation Chief Anyim Pius Anyim, and teeming party members for their resilience, sacrifices, and loyalty throughout the process.

The statement named the victorious senatorial candidates to include Barrister Onyekachi Nwebonyi (Ebonyi North), Engr. Ken Eze (Ebonyi Central), Professor Anthony Okorie Ani (Ebonyi South), It added, “for the House of Representative candidates we send best wishes to Hon Igariwey Iduma Enwo (Afikpo/Edda) Federal Constituency, Chinedu Ogah, (Ezza South/Ikwo), Emmanuel Uguru (Abakaliki/Izzi), Eze Nwachukwu Eze (Ebonyi/Ohaukwu, Hon Kama Nkemkanma (Ohanivo ), and Joseph Nwobasi (Ezza North/Ishielu) federal constituencies respectively.

It further concluded that their emergence reflects the confidence party members have in their respective capacity to serve.

Emegha urged party faithfuls to remain united and march toward victory in the general elections for the progress of Ebonyi State in particular and the nation in general.
