The Advocates for Bola Ahmed Tinubu (A4BAT) has reaffirmed its support for the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, citing what it described as remarkable progress in infrastructure and education under the current government.
The group stated that under Tinubu’s leadership, Nigeria is witnessing one of the most ambitious infrastructural transformations in its history, particularly through road construction and rehabilitation projects spread across the six geopolitical zones of the country.
This was contained in a statement jointly signed on Sunday by the Director-General of the group, Dr Okoye Tochukwu Nobert; the Secretary, Hon. Yemi Ijaodoro; and the North-West Coordinator, Comrade Saad Rufai Mustapha.
According to the group, many of the ongoing road projects are being executed with modern concrete reinforcement technology aimed at ensuring durability and long-term economic value.
“Among the landmark projects currently ongoing are the historic Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway, the reconstruction of the Enugu-Onitsha Expressway, the Makurdi–9th Mile Expressway, and the Sokoto-Badagry Super Highway.
“These projects are not mere political promises; they are visible realities that will open up commerce, strengthen national integration, create jobs, and stimulate economic growth across the country,” the statement read.
The group added that for decades Nigerians had desired leaders with the courage and political will to undertake projects of such magnitude, stressing that President Tinubu had demonstrated leadership through action, vision, and legacy projects.
According to A4BAT, the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway reflects the administration’s commitment to modernising Nigeria’s transport infrastructure and positioning the country as a major economic hub in Africa.
It further stated that the Sokoto-Badagry Super Highway would enhance trade, agriculture, tourism, and interstate connectivity by linking major economic corridors from the North to the South-West.
Speaking on education, the group commended the administration for what it described as improved stability in tertiary institutions across the country.
“Nigerians can clearly attest to the relative stability currently being enjoyed in tertiary institutions, unlike the prolonged and devastating ASUU strikes witnessed under previous administrations.
“Through constructive engagement, responsible leadership, and genuine commitment to the welfare of students and lecturers, the government has ensured that students remain in classrooms rather than staying endlessly at home,” the statement added.
The group also praised the introduction of the Students Loan Scheme, describing it as a major relief for vulnerable parents and financially challenged students seeking higher education.
According to the statement, the initiative has expanded access to education and provided hope for many Nigerian youths who previously faced financial difficulties in pursuing their academic goals.
“Indeed, Nigeria has not witnessed this level of progress in recent years. President Tinubu has shown uncommon determination in addressing inherited challenges while laying a solid foundation for future prosperity.
“As a people-oriented leader with a proven record of courage, excellence, and progressive governance, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu deserves the continued support of Nigerians,” the group stated.
A4BAT therefore called on Nigerians to continue supporting the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda as efforts continue to reposition the country for national development and economic growth.
