APGA Clears 155 Aspirants For State, NASS Primaries 


A total of 155 aspirants have been cleared by the screening committees of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) for the Senate, Federal House of Representatives and State Assembly.

A breakdown of this figure indicates that eight aspirants were cleared for the Senatorial primary election, while 40 aspirants were cleared for the Federal House of Representatives primary election.

Similarly, 107 aspirants were cleared for the Anambra State House of Assembly primary election.

According to the statement by the National Publicity Secretary of the party, Mazi Ejimofor Opara, the successful aspirants have been directed to visit the zonal headquarters of the party in Awka on Monday, 18th May to collect their nomination forms.

“The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), hereby publishes the list of successfully screened aspirants for the 2026 Primary Elections in Anambra State.”

“All successful aspirants whose names appear on the list are directed to proceed to the Party’s Regional Office in Awka on Monday, 18th May 2026, to collect their nomination forms.”

Opara further directed that the deadline for the sale of nomination forms is on the 20th of May this year, adding that all forms must be completed within the stipulated timeframe.

“Please note that the sale of nomination forms shall close on Wednesday, 20th May 2026. Aspirants are advised to complete the process within the stipulated timeframe”

“The National Working Committee congratulates all successful aspirants on this milestone. We wish you the very best as you proceed to the Primary Elections,”; the statement read.
