Amaechi Submits ADC Presidential Nomination Form


Former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, has officially declared his intention to contest the presidency under the African Democratic Congress (ADC), submitting his nomination forms at the party’s national secretariat on Thursday.

Amaechi announced the move in a press statement, saying his ambition is a mission to salvage Nigeria and reposition the country for progress.

“Today, I submitted my Presidential nomination forms at the ADC Secretariat, officially throwing my hat in the ring to salvage our country, Nigeria,” he said.

The former Rivers State governor outlined his vision for the country, pledging to restore dignity to Nigerians, strengthen national unity, and promote peace and prosperity.

“The mission is clear, we will fight to restore dignity to Nigerians, make our country great and respected in the comity of nations, and bring unity, peace, prosperity and progress to our people,” Amaechi added.

Amaechi, a prominent figure in Nigeria’s political landscape, has previously held key positions, including Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly and Minister of Transportation.
