Sarah Martins Urges AMVCA To Recognise Yul Edochie

Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has called on the organisers of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) to give more recognition to Nollywood actor Yul Edochie.

The actress made this call after the just-concluded 12th edition of the AMVCA ceremony held over the weekend, where several actors and actresses, as well as movies, were recognised for their projects in the Nigerian entertainment sphere.

This is as she congratulated all winners and stated that Edochie’s talent placed him among Nollywood’s standout performers.

She congratulated all winners and stated that Edochie’s talent placed him among Nollywood’s standout performers.

“Hate aside, Yul Edochie is a fantastic actor, and he deserves a win. AMVCA, you people can do better. Congratulations to all the amazing winners tho. No hate zone”, she wrote.

Martins clarified that her comments focused on professional merit rather than personal relationships, noting that his contributions to the industry warranted acknowledgement.

She added: “Don’t get me wrong, my loves, I just feel he deserves to be recognised for his incredible talent. Yul might not be my person, but he’s Nollywood pride in terms of talent.”
