Nollywood actress, Linda Ejiofor, has won the Best Supporting Actress award at the ongoing Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) for her performance in The Herd.
The actress earned the prestigious honour following a standout performance that impressed audiences and critics alike.
Saturday Telegraph reports that Ejiofor emerged victorious in a highly competitive category that featured some of the biggest names in African film and television.

Among the nominees were Olamide Kidbaby for Oversabi Aunty, Bisola Aiyeola for Gingerrr and veteran actress Sola Sobowale for The Covenant.
Other nominees are Nadia Dutch for Aljana, Amal Umar for The Herd, Juliebrenda Nyambura for MTV Shuga Mashariki and Funke Akindele for Behind The Scenes.
The AMVCA remains one of Africa’s biggest platforms for recognising excellence in film, television and digital entertainment.
