Nollywood Movie, “My Father’s Shadow” on Saturday, emerged as the winner of the Best Sound Design category at the 12th edition of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA), with Pius Fatoke and CJ Mirra receiving recognition for their outstanding audio work on the production.
The category featured a competitive lineup of nominees representing some of the year’s most acclaimed productions.
Tolu Obanro earned two nominations for work on Gingerrr and The Party. Vaughan Phillips was also recognised twice in the category for contributions to Ben Made It and Sebata: The Beast.

The AMVCA continues to honour creative and technical achievements across African film and television, with sound design remaining one of the most important elements in modern filmmaking.
