Bisola Aiyeola Recounts Losing Her Daughter’s Father

Nollywood actress and former Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) housemate, Bisola Aiyeola, has described the death of her daughter Leyla’s father in 2018 as an unanticipated and agonising loss.

Bisola, who spoke in a recent interview on Ife Agoro’s show, revealed that Leyla’s father passed away while in the hospital due to an illness.

According to him, he sounded better and confirmed plans to leave the hospital on Friday during a phone chat, which gave the family hope after the doctors established a discharge date.

However, she said, a few days later, someone using his phone called to let her know he had died.

“It was a heartbreaking experience. He died in August 2018. He was sick and had been on admission in the hospital. My mother, I, Leyla and my sister went to visit him in the hospital, and he died on Friday.

“We had even spoken over the phone, and he was sounding better and said he would be discharged on Friday. Someone later called me on his phone from the hospital and said he was no more,” she wrote.
