Ex-Ondo First Lady, Atiku, Mamma, Others, Obtain LP Nomination Forms


Former first lady of Ondo State, Mrs Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu, Mohammed Hayatu Atiku, Hassan Mamman Barguwa and Dennis Chibuzor Oshai are among aspirants who obtained Labour Party’s (LP) nomination forms to vie for different positions on the platform of the party in 2027.

While Mrs Anyanwu-Akeredolu is seeking to fly Labour Party‘s ticket for the Imo East senatorial district, Hon. Hassan Mamman Barguwa wants to represent Gombi/Hong federal constituency of Adamawa State in the House of Representatives.

Also, Dennis Chibuzor Oshai is vying for Aniocha/Oshimili federal constituency of Delta State, while Eric Edward is contesting for Hong state constituency, and Mohammed Hayatu Atiku, for Uba/Gaya state constituency, both in Adamawa State.

Barguwa, a former member of the House of Representatives, who spoke to journalists after obtaining his nomination forms, commended the process and modalities put in place by the party, describing the exercise as seamless.

He also expressed confidence in the renewed fortunes of the Labour Party and assured supporters of the party’s growing strength in Adamawa State and across the North East.
