Bauchi First Lady Seeks Qatar Partnership On Education, Women Empowerment


The First Lady of Bauchi State, Hajiya Ambassador Aisha Bala Mohammed, has intensified efforts to attract international support for humanitarian and development initiatives, following her visit to the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Abuja.

The visit, which was hosted by the Qatari Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr Yousef Mohammed Ahmed Al-Hail, provided a platform to explore collaboration in critical sectors such as education, women’s empowerment, and social development.

Speaking during the meeting, the First Lady outlined the activities of the Al-Muhibbah Foundation, stressing her commitment to improving the welfare of the less privileged and promoting access to inclusive and quality education.

She noted that partnerships with international stakeholders are essential to achieving long-term, sustainable impact, particularly in addressing socio-economic challenges affecting women and vulnerable communities.

Ambassador Al-Hail, in response, praised her dedication to humanitarian service and reaffirmed Qatar’s interest in fostering cooperative initiatives that would support development efforts in Bauchi State.

The engagement signals a renewed push by the Bauchi State First Lady to leverage global alliances in advancing social interventions, with expectations that the partnership could yield tangible benefits for communities across the state.
