E-Money To Gift Carter Efe N50M For Defeating Portable


Nigerian businessman and record label owner, n Emeka Okonkwo, better known as E-Money, has promised Carter Efe a whopping sum of N50 million for defeating controversial Afrobeat singer Portable in a boxing bout.
Sunday Telegraph had earlier reported that Efe defeated Portable 27–30 on the scorecards of all three judges at Balmoral Hall, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, on Saturday, May 2.

Following his defeat, Portable’s tenure as a famous boxing champion came to an end with the defeat.

Ezekiel Adamu, CEO of Balmoral Group Promotions, raised the pledge ringside, and E-Money reiterated the commitment.

“You know we are talking and doing, we talk, and we do, and so congratulations, Carter, on your win. N50 million for you,” E-Money said.

Adamu said the event delivered on its promise of entertaining fights and thanked fighters and partners for the success. He added that more editions are planned.

“We promised Chaos in the Ring, and we have delivered very entertaining fights tonight. There is more coming, thanks to everyone who made this a success and to the fighters for the great display,” he said.
