US-based Medical Doctor Declares Interest In Ogun Governorship

A United Statesbased Nigerian, Dr. Bolaji Odusina, has declared his intention to contest for governor under the platform of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in the 2027 elections in Ogun State.

Odusina, who made the declaration yesterday at the party’s secretariat in Ijebu-Igbo, said that she decided to run for the number one seat to solve infrastructural challenges facing the people in the state.

She outlined a 12-point agenda including: quality education, accessible healthcare, clean water, upgraded hospitals, insurance for all, job creation, modern infrastructure, agricultural revolution, security, transparent governance, improved power supply, and road network.

The medical doctor explained that she was not in the race for monetary gains, but rather to introduce innovations that would ease the people’s daily struggles and challenges and improve their quality of life.

She said: “I am Dr. Bolaji Marie Odusina, fondly called Dee Doc, a proud daughter of this great state. I have come to formally declare my intention to contest the 2027 governorship election under the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

“I come with a different approach, not as one seeking power for its own sake, but as a proven problem solver, innovator with clean hands and a clear record.
